IFRS17 Accountant

Your day-to-day:

• Participating in the implementation project for the new accounting standard IFRS 17 “Insurance contracts”.
• Support in the development and testing of IFRS17 related systems and reports as well as in the integration with existing GAAP
• Developing and documenting effective internal controls and procedures in the accounting process in relation to the new accounting standard IFRS 17
• Preparing financial standards and ensure GAAP’s are being adhered to appropriately
  

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of relevant working experience in the Insurance sector within an audit firm or an insurance company
• BSc or MSc in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or similar field
• Very good Knowledge of IFRS and Accounting
• Knowledge of an insurance company’s reporting requirements as well as the new accounting standard IFRS17 
• Prior experience in IFRS17 implementation project it will be a plus
• Basic Actuarial knowledge would be desirable
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specially Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills both in Greek and English
• Positive attitude, professionalism, teamwork competences, project management skills and high level of self-motivation and desire to exceed expectations
