Internal Auditor

This role aims to perform the full audit cycle of operations in order to assess and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the whole internal control system of the company.

Your Day-to-day:

• Participate in the preparation and submission of the annual audit plan for the company
• Plan and perform tactical and ad-hoc internal audit engagements in all operations of the company based on the audit principles, standards and practices
• Write and issue reports that reflect audit’s results in order to identify risks and suggest mitigation measures
• Monitor the implementation of remediation measures in order to preserve a timely and adding-value follow up process
• Act as a trusted partner offering an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, quality and credibility
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

What we are looking for:

• At least 4 years of working experience as Internal or External Auditor
• Experience in insurance or banking sector audits will be a plus
• Holder or in the final stage of acquiring a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, SOEL)
• Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar degree
• Participation in IT audit projects will be a plus
• Advanced user of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Familiarity with data analysis applications (SAS, ACL)
• Critical and analytical thinking and ability to achieve high quality results
• Excellent communication skills, writing and verbal, both in Greek and English
