IT Security Engineer

Athens, Attiki, Greece

Your day-to-day:

• Design, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of information, systems and networks
• Manage and support the company’s security systems (Mail Security, Antivirus, Application/Web Security)
• Manage SIEM activities; troubleshoot and resolve security incidents related to the company’s information systems; prepare security reports
• Integrate and optimize security practices on systems and applications
• Participate in the implementation of local and international IT security projects
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration tests

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of working experience in a relevant position
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer engineering or related field
• Knowledge and previous hands-on experience in at least some of the following security areas: WAF, Antivirus, EDR, email Security, Data Classification, Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, IAM, IDS, PIM
• Basic knowledge of cyber defense policies, procedures and regulations
• Understanding of Networking principles (TCP/IP, DMZ, Proxies, VPN, AAA)
• Security Certifications is considered a plus (security+, CEH, eJPT, OSCP)
• Knowledge of security solutions in cloud environment (Azure, AWS) is considered a plus
• Very good knowledge of English language
