Property Underwriter

Your day-to-day:

• Controlling, evaluating and pricing risks in the context of our corporate policy and individual underwriting limits
• Preparing and submitting offers to brokers or agents
• Negotiating – Accepting or Rejecting the risks within your underwriting limits
• Assigning risks to reinsurers if needed
• Communicating with brokers/agents and serving their requests
• Keeping up to date on new or enhanced products/underwriting knowledge in order to maintain high level of quality service to our customers

What we are looking for:

• Academic background in Economics, Statistics, Insurance, Business Administration or related fields
• 5+ years of working experience in Property Underwriting
• Excellent knowledge of P&C Products, Insurance Contracts and relevant Processes
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel  
• Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal both in English and Greek
• Customer-centric mindset
• Advanced negotiation and decision making skills
